Read the sermon text: Romans 8:12-17
Read the sermon summary: Our sermon this Sunday will focus on the contrast between living according to the flesh which results in death, and living according to the Spirit resulting in life. In the second half of the passage we see some of the unimaginable glories associated with life in the Spirit. In preparation for the sermon consider the following questions: What connecting word does Paul use in verse 12? What is its purpose? What do you think is Paul’s purpose in including v. 15 in relation to his arguments in the rest of the passage?
