Read the sermon text: Romans 8:31-39

Read the sermon summary: In this passage, Paul breaks out in praise of God's great love for us in Christ Jesus. In light of what he has just said, he asks five main questions to highlight this love. The thrust of the questions teach us that God is for us, God will graciously give us all things, God has justified us, Jesus is interceding for us, and nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. In preparation for the sermon, take some time to reason out each question related to how Paul answers it.

Read the following song lyrics in relation to the sermon:

Come Ye Sinners

Come ye sinners the poor and needy
Weak and wounded sick and sore
And Jesus ready stands to save you
Full of pity love and power

Chorus

I will arise and go to Jesus
He will embrace me in His arms
And in the arms of my dear Savior
Oh there are ten thousand charms

Come ye weary heavy laden
Lost and ruined by the fall
And if you tarry until you're better
You will never come at all
